Seasons and seasons..

At least with Nnature you know for sure that there are only 4 seasons - Summer, Winter, Rainy and Autumn. But this is not about that. Bangalore has been under the spell of rains for the last couple of weeks and has forgotten what is a Sunny Smile and clothes have been shifted from oragadey to allagadey umpteen number of times. Enough about that though as the matter of concern here is something that is controllable.

Singing and Dancing - Season 1

It is something new and genuine. There is REAL talent and therefore it draws your attention. You love the show, you love the format, you also love the Guests and the Hosts. Finally the big award goes to the most deserving contestant and everyone is Happy.

Singing and Dancing - Season 2

There are still many more talented people out there and it still remains genuine and REAL. People prove themselves to be good and again your are in love with every aspect of it. TRPs are now reigning high and another deserving candidate wins the title.

Singing and Dancing - Season 3

People are talented. But the show is getting old. New formats and techniques are being tried to make the magic work a third time. The TRPs are good and now it has become a SHOW. The competition exists only for the sake of the viewers. The results are previously decided and Politics decides the winner. Wild Card rounds are abound and at each excuse they ensure that the length of the show is not shortened. If TRPs dip then some DRAMA is done to increase interest. Finally when the Final Finals happen, the winner is chosen. But you are left wondering whether the wait was worth it.

Singing and Dancing - Season 4

It becomes another Show where it becomes like something of a Mega Serial.The ratings are good and the money is also good. The Producer is not willing to give up and the Director has no other better job. So they up the Oomph and glamour by calling in some Judges/Hosts who can do that. But if they have some ETHICS at least, they just use More DRAMA to promote their show.

Singing and Daning - Season 5, Season 6 etc

Same as above.

Singing and Dancing - Final Season

The show has lived past its glorious years. Contestants no longer chose to compete on it. With nothing to work with, celebration of the glorious days goes one. They air all their earlier good episodes and proclaim that they have done a great service to the Nation by providing a great platform to such untapped talent. Finally it is Curtains Down.
